This is an inspirational story about a group of kids persevering through racism. It's not a story you would be expecting, but more of a book that gives insight and perspective about race through children's eyes. It's a feel good book that you'll be glad you read.

This story is about a young girl who lives in a small town in Ohio called Heaven. She has to deal with unexpected changes that completely alter her life. The story follows her struggles and how she deals with them with the help of her friends. This short story started out slow, but you want to keep reading to find out how she deals. As more and more problems arise, she turns more to her friends to help her get through. Its a good book about growing up and dealing with things life throws at you. It never hurts to have some friends close by for support either!
